Little
Belt Mountains
The Little Belt Mountains are just West of Hobson and offer
many camp grounds and national forest access. Campsites
streams, trails, a game range, and much more provide abundant
recreation and wonderful scenery.
Crystal
Lake
Thils shallow and spectacularly clear lake is in the mountains
to the South and East of Hobson, and South and West of Lewistown:
Camping, Hiking, Canoeing, and day-trips are refreshing and quite.
Ackley
Lake
Just a couple of miles from Hobson, Ackley Lake provides many
recreation opportunities in Central Montana: Camping, fishing,
boating, or just picnicking.
What
The Hay
Second Weekend in September
Sculptures made from hay and straw line the road from Hobson to
Utica to Windham and are judged in many categories. Many
events are held at this time including the Utica Days Fair and much
more. People from far and wide come to our community to enjoy
this event.
Park
& Pool
The Hobson community park is being renovated in 2006 with new
playground equipment. The community swimming pool is also
located at the park. The fenced play area also has picnic
tables and an historic log cabin from the area.
